Please send, along with your submission, a maximum of one page on each of the following subjects:
-
A biography that notes your citizenship ... we will publish only writers who are Canadian citizens.
-
An overview of your submission: its themes, main ideas, etc.
-
A list of previously published work, reviews, etc.
-
A statement as to why you believe your submission should be considered for publication.
-
Any ideas you have that might help in the promotion of your book.
-
Your contact information: mailing address, phone number, e-mail address, etc.
**
We will likely receive several manuscripts for consideration during each submission period, but we will publish only 2 to 4 books a year.
We would prefer not to have to consider multiple submissions.
Selecting the manuscripts for publication will be involved and will take some time, so please allow 2 months for a reply.
-
Your submission will be read by the receiving editor.
-
A short-list of manuscripts will be assembled and read again.
-
The short-list will be winnowed to the successful manuscript(s).
**
If your submission is not accepted for publication, it will be returned with a written reply if it includes a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) with sufficient Canadian postage [No dated return postage, please.], the sage advice of Ring Lardner notwithstanding:

A good many young writers make the mistake of enclosing a stamped,
self-addressed envelope, big enough for the manuscript to come back in.
This is too much of a temptation to the editor.
If no SASE is included, your manuscript will be recycled and a short e-mail will be sent to you.

If your submission is accepted for publication, you will be contacted by e-mail.

So, make sure we have your e-mail address!

Acknowledgement of Manuscript Receipt
If you wish an acknowledgement of our receipt of your submission, please include a Self-Addressed Stamped Postcard (SASP) or a Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) with your submission.
